WFTV EventS SCHEDULE
We run a comprehensive and hybrid model with a mixture of in-person and virtual events programme taking place around the UK, at festivals and online.
These free, weekly, events for members cover a diverse range of industry-focused topics as workshops, seminars, panel discussions and screenings, with strands such as Writers’ Group, Meet the Commissioner, a mix of online and in-person networking and exclusive TV and film screenings.
At WFTV, we want our events to be accessible for everyone. If you have any access requirements, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please contact admin@wftv.org.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

- Tue 06 May06 May 2025, 10:00 – 16:00 BSTWest Wing Project Space, South Building Somerset House Trust, Strand, London WC2R 1LA, UKWFTV members are invited to this introductory in-person workshop where they'll discover how to harness practical AI tools and apply them to their own creative projects. Members will have the opportunity to contribute towards their own videos throughout the course of the day.

Each WFTV Short Film Club session will screen a collection of short films, followed by the opportunity to meet new and familiar faces in a relaxed, social environment.

Our in-person networking sessions are for all WFTV members to meet new people in a friendly and informal setting. This month we will be at All Is Joy, London and will include some informal 'speed dating' networking.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Sinéad O'Shea and London Review of Books Editor at Large, Andrew O'Hagan.

Members will have the opportunity to meet colleagues & make new connections with other women working in post-production.

The seminars will take place in-person at Simkins’ office. Members will be joined by Partner Juliane Althoff and Associate Sophie Neal.
